Internet disconnection: TRA to investigate
Manama : Following numerous complaints regarding a sudden disconnection of internet in the country on Thursday, the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) confirmed that it’s currently investigating the matter.
Stating on its official Twitter account, the authority said it had received some inquiries regarding temporary internet service interruption on Thursday morning in some areas in the Kingdom”.
“TRA has commenced its procedures to investigate the reason of this incident,” the authority added. Unverified reports state the disconnection was caused by a malfunction in of the country’s providing cables.
