MPs Back Quick Payouts for Attack Damage

MPs voiced strong support for quick compensation and repairs for families whose homes and cars were damaged in Iranian attacks after the Crown Prince and Prime Minister toured Sitra and Hidd.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa visited the two areas to inspect damaged homes, meet residents and check repair work ordered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam said the visit showed that the government was dealing directly with residents’ safety and losses.

‘The citizen always comes first, and their security, safety and comfort are the highest priority,’ he said.

He praised the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for inspecting the damage, meeting families and checking the repair work himself.

Mr Al Musallam also welcomed orders for ministries to work as one team, pay families quickly and repair damaged homes.

He praised residents for standing together during the attacks.

He said ministries had also worked side by side to repair homes and help families.

MP Mohsen Al Asbool said the compensation order and the visit had reassured families in Sitra whose homes and cars were damaged.

‘The security, safety and stability of citizens are a red line,’ Mr Al Asbool said.

He praised people in Sitra and across Bahrain for standing together during and after the attacks.

MP Dr Maryam Al Dhaen said the visit also gave families whose homes were hit a chance to speak directly with the leadership.

She said residents neededprppp to be heard, homes repaired and ministries made to work together.

Dr Al Dhaen said ministries had worked together to repair homes, help residents and deal with safety concerns after the attacks.

MP Mohammed Janahi said the visit showed that residents came first.

He praised the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for personally checking compensation and repairs and ordering ministries to work as one team.

Mr Janahi said families should be helped, homes repaired and normal life restored as soon as possible.
