White House Blocks CNN From Trump’s Air Force One Trip

Washington: The White House has prohibited CNN from accompanying President Donald Trump on Air Force One on Saturday as he travels to Knoxville, Tennessee, for a college football game. CNN had been set to join the rotating White House TV press pool.
CNN's exclusion comes amid a tense standoff between the Trump administration and other news organizations over press access. CNN, MS NOW, and Politico were recently prohibited from the White House after Trump condemned their reporting.
A federal judge then ordered the administration to temporarily reinstate the three publications' White House access for 14 days. The judgment reinstated their credentials but did not address access to Air Force One.
CNN's spot in the travel pool was reportedly assigned to Real America's Voice News, a conservative site. The decision has reignited controversy about how the administration selects media companies for limited-access presidential travel.
