HM King Hamad vows to advance Bahrain’s progress and unity in Silver Jubilee address

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to security, advancement, and the betterment of citizens’ lives in a momentous keynote address to the nation commemorating the Silver Jubilee of his accession yesterday.

HM the King delivered a speech during a grand ceremony held under his patronage at Al-Sakhir Palace marking 25 years of leadership achievements.

“Despite the serious crises the world is going through, Bahrain will overcome all challenges, thanks to the discipline and wise actions of its people,” declared His Majesty. He emphasised the nation’s protection from adversity through faith, tradition, and patriotism.

HM the King paid tribute to his late father, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and outlined the Kingdom’s commitment to progress and unity. Reflecting on the legacy of his late father, HM King Hamad expressed gratitude for the foundation of compassion and fraternity he established.

“Everything I have done stems from his ideas and aspirations,” His Majesty stated, honouring his father’s dedication to serving the people. HM King Hamad lauded His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Bahrain’s citizens for their dedication to serving their country.

“We are fully confident that the flag of the nation will remain flying high,” he declared.
