Works Ministry completes Riffa road development project

Works Ministry announced completing the B D 863,260 road development project in Block 913 in Riffa, Southern Governorate. Sayed Badr Alawi, the Director of the Roads Projects and Maintenance Department at the Ministry of Works, said the project included the development of Roads 1311 and 1312, re-paving roads 1301, 1304, 1307, 1379, and 1369 and in the northern part of Block 913, and providing sidewalks.
To address the issue of rainwater gathering, the project, Alawi said, established drainage networks on Road 1312 that connects Street 1311.
Works on rainwater drainage networks are also progressing on Al Mutaredh Street to connect it to the drainage network on Umm Al Naasan Street.
The tender board had awarded the project to JASCO. The Ministry thanked the residents of the area for adhering to warning signs and following the traffic diversions.
