HH Shaikh Nasser Receives US Defence Official
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Commander of the Royal Guard, received Michael Dimino IV, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Near East and Central Asian Affairs, in the presence of Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor.
During the meeting, His Highness Shaikh Nasser welcomed Michael Dimino and highlighted the longstanding relations and close strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United States.
He also emphasised the importance of the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA) in strengthening cooperation and integration between the two countries, serving their shared interests and supporting security, stability and prosperity in the region.
The meeting reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation and coordination between Bahrain and the United States.
The two sides also exchanged views on regional issues and developments, as well as efforts to enhance security and stability in the region.
