Bahrain's Hasan Ali finished eighth in the Gran Turismo 7 competition at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya yesterday after progressing through the semi-finals at Aichi Sky Expo.
Ali secured his place in the eight-driver final by taking fourth in his semi-final race, clocking 20 minutes 47.224 seconds.
The Bahraini went on to collect four points across the three-race medal contest to complete his campaign.
Malaysia's Taj Lerrin Aiman Taj Madira claimed gold with 36 points after finishing second in the opening two races before winning the third.
Saudi Arabia's Naif Abdulbaki Al-Faleh took silver on 25 points, with South Korea's Kim Youngchan securing bronze after finishing level on seconds.
