BIS Students Win IT Symposium

Bhavans Bahrain Indian School students delivered a strong performance at the Dewang Mehta Memorial IT Symposium V20.26, hosted by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Mehta Vidyalaya, K.G. Marg, on August 7, 2026. The symposium brought together students from Bhavan’s schools to showcase their skills in technology, creativity and innovation.

Representing BIS in AI WebForge, Geetadiva and Layout Lab, students demonstrated their technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities. Grade 12 Cooper students Arnav Magar and Shlok Kale secured first place in AI WebForge for their innovative use of artificial intelligence and received certificates and gift cards. Anubhav Udhayakumar of Grade 11 Benjamin participated in Geetadiva, while Grade 8 Aryabhatta student Aditya Udhayakumar took part in Layout Lab.

The event also gave students an opportunity to explore emerging technologies, develop practical solutions and gain experience in an inter-school competitive environment. BIS Directors Himanshu Verma and Ritu Verma and Principal Saji Jacob congratulated the students and praised their achievements, while appreciating the faculty for encouraging technological curiosity and innovation among learners.
