HRH Crown Prince Visits Sitra and Hidd

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today visited Sitra and Hidd to follow up on the implementation of the Royal Directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa concerning citizens affected by the Iranian attacks.

During the attacks, a number of homes and vehicles were damaged. His Royal Highness had ordered that affected citizens be compensated, with government authorities continuing efforts to repair and rehabilitate damaged properties.

Prince Salman was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and a number of senior officials.

During the visit, His Royal Highness reviewed the progress of repair works on damaged homes in Sitra and Hidd. He stressed the importance of maintaining the same pace of work and completing all repairs according to the highest standards.

His Royal Highness also emphasised the importance of continued coordination among the relevant government entities through a unified Team Bahrain approach, ensuring a swift response to citizens' needs and providing them with the necessary support and care while safeguarding their security and safety.

Prince Salman noted the awareness, solidarity and national cohesion demonstrated by the people of Bahrain in responding to the repercussions of the Iranian attacks, describing the unity and cohesion of Bahraini society as an important source of the Kingdom's strength.

Authorities have previously reported significant progress in repairing damaged homes. In April, the Ministry of Works and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning announced the completion of repairs to 71 homes, including 30 units in Hidd Housing City and 19 homes in Sitra.
