Sultan Ahmad Shah dies

The Embassy of Malaysia in Bahrain yesterday announced the passing of His Royal Highness Sultan Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar, former Yang di-Pertuan Agong (Supreme Ruler) of Malaysia on Wednesday in Kuala Lumpur.   

His Royal Highness Sultan Ahmad Shah ascended the throne as the 5th Sultan of the State of Pahang on 7 May 1974. He also served as the 7th Yang di-Pertuan Agong from 1979 to 1984.  

A Book of Condolence will be opened for signing at the Embassy of Malaysia, Building 2305, Road 2830, Block 428, Seef District on 26 and 27 May 2019 from 09:00 hours to 13:00hours.
