Performance evaluation on December 14
Manama : Ministries, public institutions and government entities that have not completed the annual evaluation of their employees according to the performance management system (ADAA) have until December 14 to complete the process. The Director General of Human Resources Development and Performance Management, Adel Heji Ibrahim Mohammed said that officials in-charge should evaluate staff objectively to ensure the principles of justice and equality in the implementation of the annual performance appraisal.
The system is based on basic principles that aim to enhance and develop the culture of performance, on communication and partnership between the employee and the direct supervisor and the positive use of the evaluation results to motivate employees and determine the developmental requirements for their performance, he added The increment will not be processed to staff not evaluated and whose performance level “needs to improve” in the evaluation for the current year, he said.
