Centre to be constructed for elderly

Manama : A centre will be constructed in the district of Hoora, Manama, to accommodate elderly women in recognition of their dedicated efforts and strenuous contribution to national development.

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa directed a land located at bloc 318 to be reallocated and registered for the centre to be constructed.
Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan paid tribute to HRH the Premier for the gesture which reflects his keenness on providing this social category the necessary social and healthcare. 

Humaidan announced that the ministry would start administrative and executive procedures so as to start the construction of the centre, adding that the Premier’s directives would have a positive impact on elderly people. 

He hailed HRH the Premier’s keenness on reaching out to citizens and meeting their needs and demands. “HRH the Premier allocated land plots and budgets to build and operate several other social and development centres in all governorates”, he said. 

He stressed the Premier’s directives, instructing state officials to visit villages, assess citizens’ needs and meet their demands promptly.
