BTC one-day training course held
Manama : More than 60 teachers from the Physical Education section of the Ministry of Education and a number of members of Bahrain Tennis Club and former players took part in a one-day training course under the supervision of Bahraini international referee Ahmed Al Hawaj.
The course was held at the Bahrain Tennis Club (BTC) premises in Juffair to prepare ahead of the ITF Futures 2 Championship to be held from March 27 to April 2, in which participants were instructed about how to umpire, referee and administer matches and all the rules and regulations including a theory lecture. After the session, certificates were handed out to the participants by deputy president of BTC Mirza Sammak and a trophy to Al Hawaj.
