16 teams for Charity Penalty Shoot-out today
Manama : 16 teams will compete in the Sixth Open Charity Football Penalty Shoot-out Championship today in aid of Special Olympics Bahrain at Isa Sports City hall D under the theme “ We Love Bahrain “ in celebration of the forthcoming National Day of Bahrain.
The annual championship is organised by Special Olympics Bahrain under the patronage of Shaikh Duaij bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, President of Special Olympics Bahrain in co-operation with Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities and co-ordinated Phoenix Marketing and Creations.
Teams are divided into four group, comprise five members and will get a chance to shoot one each and conducted on a round-robin knockout basis.
The top two teams advance to the knock-out stages.
Team registration is at 2 pm and matches start at 3pm with the finals at 5 pm followed by the prize presentation.
