Desert Dukes take Indian Expats title

Manama : Desert Dukes defeated Salcete United 2-1 in a penalty shoot-out after the match finished 3-3 after normal time to lift the Open Category title in the Indian Club Indian Expats Five-a-Side Football Tournament 2016 at its premises in Gudaibiya.

The U19 category was won by Galatarzy FC who beat Zinj FC 2-0, with Al Kerlawi FC taking the U15 title with a hard fought 1-0 win over House of Travel.

Indian Club President, Anand Lobo presided over the prize-giving ceremony as members of Executive Committee and invited guests presented trophies and medals to all the winners.

Best player category awards: 

U15: Jonah (House of Travel). U19: Faris (Galatarzy FC). Open: Mohammed Zacharia (Desert Dukes).
