Shaikh Nasser withdraw from Ironman 70.3 Middle East Championship
Manama : HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa withdrew from the Ironman 70.3 Middle East Championship this morning. His Majesty the King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President fell off his bike during the second stage of the race (cycling) after finishing off the swimming challenge. He posted a picture on his personal Instagram page showing the injuries he sustained. “I'm out of the race. I fell off the bike, and was determined to continue but my bike broke. Thank God anyways. Best of luck to all competitors,” he wrote.
