Al Hawaj organises Mother’s Day event at Four Seasons

Manama : A heart-warming Mother’s Day event was held by Al Hawaj to wrap up its “I Love My Mom” campaign, in partnership with CrediMax at Four Seasons Hotel.

Special guests included Minister of Labour and Social Development Jameel  Humaidan, Shaikha Hind bint Salman Al Khalifa;  Saleh Bin Isa  bin Hindi; ambassadors, diplomats, businessmen, media members, and many more.

Al Hawaj Chairman and Managing Director, Jawad Al Hawaj, and General Manager,   Abdul Wahab Al Hawaj gave opening remarks about the campaign and its significance in building strong ties between mothers and their children.

The event featured a special video on the late Shaikha Lulwa bint Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa, mother of Shaikha Hind. The latter  could not help but cry when the event honoured Shaikha Lulwa as an exemplary mother, philanthropist, and leader.

On the other hand, Al Hawaj gave a memorial gift to Aisha Ahmed Abdul Karim, winner of the International Ideal Mother Prize, during the 3rd International Festival for Ideal Mother held in Cairo, Egypt.

Al Hawaj presented its six-member panel of Jury, which included Sami Hijris,  Moanes Al Mardi,  George Middleton,   Eman Marhoon,   Mariam Zeiman, and   Ameera Ismail.

The Jury selected the top 10 winners of the “I Love My Mom” campaign out of the hundreds of entries submitted. Customers were given the chance to join the contest through purchase of Al Hawaj products such as perfume, cosmetics, watches, fashion accessories, leather bags, and other goods. 

They were given an entry form where they can write their sweetest message to their Mom. The top three winners will receive cash prizes from CrediMax plus perfume bouquets from Al Hawaj. The rest will get perfume bouquets.

“I Love My Mom” campaign is a yearly initiative of Al Hawaj that aims to encourage the public to appreciate their mothers.
