Eight Arrested Over BD70,000 Theft From Commercial Building in Sitra

Bahrain’s General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Evidence arrested eight Asian nationals aged 27 to 41, for stealing copper wires, internal air-conditioning control units and electrical control units from a commercial building in Sitra.
The stolen items are estimated to be worth around BD70,000.
The General Directorate said the arrests were made in connection with two separate incidents. Following reports of the thefts, criminal investigators conducted search and investigation operations and gathered evidence that led to the identification and arrest of the suspects.
The authorities also seized and secured the recovered items.
Legal procedures have been completed, with the two cases being prepared for referral to the Public Prosecution.
