HM King Receives Jordanian Senate Speaker in Bahrain

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Faisal Akef Al-Fayez, Speaker of the Senate Kingdom of Jordan, during his official visit to Bahrain.

During the meeting, His Majesty reaffirmed the strong historic ties and close brotherly relations between Bahrain and Jordan, stressing the commitment of both countries’ leaderships to further enhancing cooperation in ways that serve shared interests.

The Jordanian Senate Speaker conveyed greetings from King Abdullah II of Jordan and expressed his country’s wishes for continued prosperity and progress for Bahrain and its people. His Majesty also sent his greetings and best wishes to the Jordanian monarch and people.

His Majesty highlighted the importance of official visits and parliamentary cooperation in strengthening coordination between the two countries and supporting the exchange of expertise and experiences across various fields.

The King also praised the role of King Abdullah II in reinforcing Bahraini-Jordanian relations and commended Jordan’s supportive positions toward Bahrain, as well as its efforts in promoting Arab cooperation, peace, and regional stability.

The meeting further reviewed regional and international developments of mutual concern, particularly the latest situation in the Middle East.

For his part, Al-Fayez expressed appreciation for the warm reception and reaffirmed Jordan’s commitment to expanding cooperation and coordination with Bahrain in all sectors.

He also reiterated Jordan’s solidarity with Bahrain and support for measures aimed at protecting the Kingdom’s security, stability, and sovereignty.
