UAE Soldier Killed Defending Bahrain from Iranian Attack

MANAMA: A UAE Armed Forces soldier was killed while serving alongside Bahraini forces during Iranian missile and drone attacks on the kingdom, the Bahrain Defence Force said Tuesday.
The BDF said several of its personnel were also injured in the attacks, along with UAE colleagues. They were evacuated immediately for treatment. Most suffered minor to moderate injuries and have since been discharged, while the force said it continues to monitor their recovery closely and prayed for their full recovery. The attacks have continued since 28 February 2026.
The General Command said it mourned the soldier’s death and offered condolences to the UAE Armed Forces and his family. It prayed for God’s mercy on him, for him to be granted a place in paradise among the martyrs and the righteous, and for patience and comfort for his loved ones.
It also renewed its pledge to defend Bahrain’s skies, waters and land, and to meet any threat to the kingdom’s security and stability. The public was urged to rely on official sources for information and not to spread rumours.
