Bahrain Commander-in-Chief Meets GCC Military Leaders

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), held a high-level meeting today with senior Gulf military officials to discuss ways to enhance joint defense coordination across the region.

Present at the meeting were Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs; Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the BDF; and Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Advisor for Financial and Technical Affairs at the General Command.

The Commander-in-Chief welcomed Major General Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Balawi, Commander of the GCC Unified Military Command, and Major General Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Ruwais, Commander of the Peninsula Shield Force.

During the talks, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed commended the dedicated efforts of the GCC Unified Military Command and the Peninsula Shield Force in reinforcing defense integration and advancing military cooperation among Gulf nations.

The meeting underscored Bahrain’s firm commitment to strengthening collective security and defense readiness within the GCC framework.

Several senior officers from the Bahrain Defence Force also attended the meeting.
