New chairperson for migrant workers body

Mona Yousuf Khalil Almoayyed has been elected as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the next term of the Migrant Workers Protection Society (MWPS) in Bahrain.
Advocate Madhavan Kallath was elected as the General Secretary. The complete list of elected office bearers is as follows: Chairperson: Mona Yousuf Khalil Almoayyed; Vice Chairperson: Evone Vijayavani Bhaskaran; General Secretary: Madhavan Kallath; Treasurer: Kavithasree Suvarna; Assistant General Secretary: Mohammed Gayasullah Amanullah; and Assistant Treasurer: Daniel Menezes Ambrosio.
Goals
To effectively advance the organization’s goals, the Board has formed five specialized committees. Heads have been appointed to focus on key policy and operational areas.
The following individuals will lead these sub-committees: Ayuk Arrey Ndumne (Action Committee), Kavithasree Suvarna (Finance Committee), Mohammed Gayas (Fund Raising Committee), Zuhair Katib (Labour Safety & Welfare Committee), and Raji Unnikrishnan (Media & Publicity Committee).
