One more COVID-19 death

A 59-year-old Bahrain man is the latest casualty in Bahrain’s battle against the deadly pandemic, which until yesterday has claimed 189 lives. Ministry of Health announced the death and condolences to the family of the deceased on its twitter handle. There are currently 65 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment in the Kingdom, of which 30 are in a critical condition.

Some 3,164 actives cases are there, out of which 3,134 patients are health-wise stable. Health Ministry also conducted 9,651 more COVID-19 tests yesterday raising the total tests conducted to 1,088,418. New 357 cases were detected yesterday, of which 115 are expatriate workers, 232 are contacts of active cases, and 10 are travel related. Bahrain also announced 390 more recoveries yesterday, increasing the number of patients cured of their infection in the Kingdom, till date, to 47,760.
