Two arrested for stealing BD9,000 from company

Two people have been arrested for stealing BD9,000 from a company in Ma’ameer and destroying its contents, the Ministry of Interior reported yesterday. The ministry said that the Southern Governorate Police director-general reported the detention of the individuals, who are aged 31 and 33 years old.
The director-general explained that as soon as the directorate received a report on the incident, an investigation was carried out, which resulted in the identification and arrest of the pair. The stolen amount was also seized. The director-general indicated that legal measures have been taken and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
