A 63-year-old expatriate man is the Kingdom latest victim to the COVID-19 battle. Bahrain’s ministry of health announced the death on its Twitter handle yesterday. With this, the total number of deaths in the Kingdom reached 137. There are currently 74 COVID-19 active cases in the Kingdom receiving treatment at various facilities, out of which 51 patients are admitted to Intensive care.

There are also some 3,405 active cases in the Kingdom, of which 3,354 patients are in a stable condition. Health Ministry announced conducting 8,581 COVID-19 tests yesterday, bringing the total tests conducted since the recording of the first case in the Kingdom to780,081.

The Kingdom also detected 289 new cases yesterday which includes 151 expatriate workers, 138 contacts of active cases. No travel travel-related cases reported. New 379 recoveries also reported yesterday, increasing the number of people cured of their infection till date to 35,205.
