Middle East Medical Group attends Gulf Sports Expo

Manama : Middle East Hospital and Medical Centres participated in the first-ever Gulf Sports Expo held from May 17 to 19. The Expo was organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, under the patronage of Supreme Council for Youth & Sport Chairman, Bahrain Olympic Committee President & Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Chairman HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The expo was inaugurated by Minister of Sports Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder.

Middle East Medical Group showcased its ability to handle sports injuries and rehab and provide a total 360-degree solution for those involved in an active lifestyle or sporting activity. As part of the group’s dedication towards the community of achieving a healthier and fitter lifestyle the focus was to educate people on various topics of fitness and wellbeing through 1 to 1 consultation with specialist doctors of the hospital.

There were discussions with officials of various sports associations as to how the medical facilities could be utilized to provide efficient treatment to athletes and the public for injuries and conditions related to an active lifestyle. Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, visited Middle East Hospital & Medical Centres stall at the expo.
