Work begins on entrance to Block 1034
Manama : The Ministry of Works, Municipalities & Urban Planning has commenced the construction of an entrance to Block 1034 in Malkiya and the environs at the Northern Governorate, according to Roads Projects & Maintenance Director Sayyed Bader Alawi.
According to Alawi, the Dirt Roads Programme is part of the Government’s programme to improve infrastructure, giving priority to the paving of dirt roads in urban areas and create an integrated roads network in the Kingdom.
Alawi explained that works comprise of paving a total of 1.2km long roads. The BD203,593 project is hoped to serve 90 housing units and was awarded to Al Wardi Contracting.
