E-system to monitor plaints and remarks unveiled

ManamaAn electronic system has been introduced to monitor citizens’ remarks and complaints regarding the performance of ministries and government departments.

The new scheme is the result of cooperation between the court of Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the Ministry of Information Affairs to follow up people’s needs and classify them on the basis of type of services and issues. 

“This system will contribute to enhancing the quality of services and consolidating national achievements in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa,” said Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi. 

He asserted that a good partnership with the media will help develop the government’s services.

The inauguration of the e-monitoring system, follows the directives of the Prime Minister and the support of Crown Prince,  Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

“The new e-monitoring system will enable officials to scrutinise the performance of their ministries and institutions regarding the interaction with citizens’ issues,” the Minister said.

The e-system will also classify the complaints so as to consolidate their efficiency in dealing with issues published in the press and media. Reports and charts will also be prepared on the basis of the complaints, and any false informations will be corrected.
