Gulf Air congratulates leadership

Manama : Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, yesterday congratulated the Bahraini leadership and public on yet another successful hosting of the prestigious 2016 Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. 

Gulf Air Acting Chief Executive Officer, Maher Salman Al Musallam said, “The success of this year’s race is a testament to the commitment and efforts of our leadership and the Bahraini people as a whole – whose ongoing efforts have been fruitful over the years in securing the Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix as a firm favourite amongst fans from all over the world. We look forward to welcoming more visitors to Bahrain for many years to come and continuing our successful partnership with Formula One.” 

Gulf Air has been the title sponsor of the Bahrain Grand Prix since it made history in April 2004 as the first Formula One Grand Prix to be held in the Middle East. Since then, the airline has been instrumental in the success of the event and the benefits it has brought to Bahrain’s economy. 

Gulf Air is a proud ambassador for Bahrain and takes its role in supporting the Kingdom’s diversification in areas such as tourism very seriously. The airline has been Official Carrier of the biennial Bahrain International Airshow since it was first held in 2010.
