Four Global ACI Honours for Bahrain Airport
Bahrain International Airport received four prestigious recognitions from Airports Council International (ACI) for customer experience, arrival services quality, accessibility and public health and safety preparedness.
Mohamed Jameel Al Khenaizi Chief Commercial Officer of Bahrain Airport Company, received the recognitions during the Global Airport Experience Summit, which Istanbul Airport (iGA) hosted in Türkiye.
Level 5 is the highest level of the ACI Customer Experience Accreditation programme. Maintaining the accreditation for a second consecutive year places Bahrain International Airport among the world's airports holding the highest level of recognition. This reflects Bahrain Airport Company's continued commitment to embedding customer experience across its strategy, governance, operations, service design and corporate culture.
The airport also secured the Airport Service Quality Award for Best Airport Worldwide for Arrivals for the second consecutive year. The award is based on feedback from travellers from around the world and recognises the quality of services provided to arriving passengers and the efficiency of their arrival experience in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Khalid Hussain Taqi, Chairman of Gulf Air Group Holding, expressed pride in the achievements. He stated that maintaining the highest level of customer experience accreditation, alongside global recognition for arrival services, public health preparedness and accessibility, demonstrates the success of Bahrain Airport Company's strategy in achieving excellence across all aspects of the airport experience.
He noted that the achievements resulted from the dedication of employees and close cooperation among the airport's partners and operating entities, which strengthens the Kingdom of Bahrain's position as a leading hub in the aviation sector.
