His Excellency Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Minister of Information, said the Bahrain International Trophy's elevation to Group 1 status marks a historic achievement for Bahrain and strengthens its position in global horse racing.
He credited the achievement to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Al Nuaimi said the upgrade reflects Bahrain's growing international reputation, strong organisation, and continued development of its equestrian sector under the vision of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
