The United Arab Emirates has reaffirmed its full solidarity with Bahrain following the discovery of an organisation linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and the ideology of “Wilayat Al Faqih” by Bahraini security authorities.
Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, expressed the country’s support for the measures taken by Bahrain to safeguard its national security, sovereignty and stability.
In a statement issued in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Abdullah stressed that the UAE stands behind all actions undertaken by Bahraini authorities to protect society and maintain national stability.
He also praised the professionalism and vigilance of Bahrain’s security agencies, commending their efforts in uncovering the organisation and initiating legal procedures against those involved.
Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s firm rejection of terrorism and organisations connected to foreign agendas, highlighting the importance of strengthening regional and international cooperation to confront security threats and extremist activities.
He further emphasised that Bahrain’s security is closely tied to the security of the UAE and the wider Gulf region, reiterating the UAE’s full support for all measures aimed at preserving Bahrain’s stability and protecting its national achievements.
