Malaysia stands with Bahrain amid Iran threats

The Honourable Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, affirmed his country’s solidarity with Bahrain, expressing its condemnation of the Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom.
He underscored Malaysia’s support for Bahrain in safeguarding its security and the safety of its territory, citizens, and residents.
This came as His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday received a telephone call from Prime Minister Ibrahim.
During the call, they exchanged Eid Al-Fitr greetings. HRH Prince Salman and Prime Minister Ibrahim affirmed the depth of Bahrain– Malaysia relations, highlighting the continued growth of bilateral cooperation and coordination across various sectors.
His Royal Highness also expressed his appreciation for Malaysia’s support towards the Kingdom.
