HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Takes Part in Qatar International 160km Endurance Race
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, participated in the Qatar International 160km Endurance Race, alongside a number of riders.
The event was attended by His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment and Deputy Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, as well as Mohammed bin Ali Al Ghatam, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Qatar.
During the event, Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad met with Shaikh Nawaf bin Nasser Al Thani, Board Member of the Qatari Businessmen Association and owner of Al Nasser Stables.
He also received a commemorative gift from Shaikh Mohammed bin Nawaf Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Endurance Racing Club.
Shaikh Nasser reaffirmed the Royal Endurance Team’s commitment to participating in the Qatar race as part of its approved programme and preparation for the upcoming World Endurance Championship in the United Arab Emirates.
He said the participation provides an opportunity to assess the technical capabilities of the team’s riders and horses while strengthening their readiness for upcoming competitions.
Shaikh Nasser also expressed appreciation to the race organising committee for its efforts and for providing suitable conditions for participants.
