Bahrain welcomes Afghanistan and Pakistan truce

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s welcome of the announcement made in Doha regarding the agreement between Pakistan and Afghanistan on an immediate ceasefire.
The Ministry commended the diplomatic mediation efforts of Qatar and Turkiye, emphasising the Kingdom’s support for efforts aimed at enhancing bilateral relations and constructive cooperation between the two countries, and consolidating security, stability, and sustainable peace in the region.
