The Ministry of Social Development is gearing up to host the “Summer of Craft and Innovation” exhibition, set to take place from July 26 to 28 at The Capital Mall. The event will showcase a wide variety of handmade Bahraini products, celebrating the skills of local artisans and supporting homegrown talent.
Organized as part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to support national initiatives, the exhibition aims to strengthen Bahrain’s social and sustainable economy by empowering local craftsmen and home-based businesses.
Speaking about the event, Einas Mohammed Al Majid, Assistant Undersecretary for Community Development, said that the exhibition reflects the Ministry’s commitment to providing marketing platforms for artisans. These platforms help them promote their creations, gain visibility in the local market, and sustain their businesses in the long term.
She emphasized that the event will also highlight the innovative side of traditional crafts, giving artisans a space to blend creativity with culture, helping them adapt to modern market trends in a sustainable way.
The Ministry is inviting the public to visit the exhibition, which will run daily from 10 AM to 8 PM, offering a vibrant and interactive atmosphere. Visitors will have the chance to explore a range of local products, meet skilled Bahraini artisans, and show their support for local craftsmanship.
