The Airbus team gave a detailed briefing on the progress of the current development project, which is advancing according to schedule. As part of the ongoing collaboration, both sides agreed on the training of a fully integrated team of pilots, engineers, and paramedics. This initiative forms a key part of Bahrain’s broader plan to boost its air ambulance services, outfitting them with cutting-edge technology to enhance search and rescue operations, medical evacuations, and rapid emergency response.

The meeting reflected Bahrain’s continued efforts to build a modern and efficient emergency response system that prioritizes speed, precision, and public care.

The update came during a meeting between His Excellency General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, and a delegation from Airbus Helicopters International, led by Mr. Ali Al Ameri, the company’s representative in Riyadh. The Chief of Public Security and the Commander of Police Aviation were also present.

During the meeting, the Minister thanked the Airbus delegation for their ongoing partnership and support in strengthening Bahrain’s Police Aviation Unit. He praised the shared efforts in upgrading the unit’s technical and operational capabilities, which are essential in areas such as public safety, emergency medical services, and law enforcement.
