As part of ongoing efforts to ensure marine safety and enforce regulations, the Coast Guard Command conducted a joint inspection campaign along several coastal areas in Muharraq Governorate.

The campaign was carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), the Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate, and the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA).

The operation aimed to verify compliance with marine safety protocols, ensure that migrant workers were adhering to residency and labour laws, and inspect the activities of marine-based tourism companies. Several violations were recorded during the campaign, and legal action has been initiated against the offenders.

The Coast Guard Command stressed the importance of adhering to laws and regulations governing marine and fishing activities, adding that such inspection campaigns will continue regularly to help strengthen public safety and uphold the rule of law.
