Finance Minister Meets Strategic Teams, Highlights Progress on 2025–2026 State Budget

Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, held a meeting with national teams from the Ministry who played key roles in advancing several strategic projects, including the preparation of the draft law for Bahrain’s general state budget for the fiscal years 2025–2026.

The draft budget was developed in close coordination with various ministries and government agencies, reflecting a comprehensive national effort to align financial planning with the Kingdom’s development goals.

During the meeting, Shaikh Salman praised the dedication and efforts of Bahraini citizens in driving national progress, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the ongoing follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He highlighted the strong cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities, emphasizing the Ministry’s ongoing commitment to ensuring the smooth approval and implementation of the 2025–2026 budget law to support sustainable economic development.

"The Kingdom’s achievements are the result of unified national efforts and effective collaboration among institutions," the Minister stated, noting that the budget planning process reflects Bahrain’s prioritization of fiscal sustainability, enhanced spending efficiency, and the creation of a more attractive investment environment.
