The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has organised a trip to Holy Mecca and Medina for a group of widows and orphans to perform Umrah and visit the holy sites.

The trip featured many recreational and religious programmes, as well as visits to historical sites. On the occasion, RHF Secretary-General, Dr Mustafa Al Sayed Al Ameen, said that the trip is in line with directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, noting that under the leadership of the Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the RHF is keen to deliver all kinds of services and care to its sponsored families.

The RHF organised religious and awareness-raising lectures, presented by Shaikh Jalal Al Sharqi and Shaikh Raed Al-Sitri, for the 30 participants ahead of the trip. The participants lauded the outstanding organisation of the trip, wishing HM the King and HH Shaikh Nasser abundant health and happiness. They also wished Bahrain everlasting security, peace and stability, under the leadership of HM King Hamad.
