Amir praises the successful hosting of Formula One GP

Manama : Ahmed Amir who is set to compete at Brave 11 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil have praised the successful hosting of Formula One by the Kingdom of Bahrain. 

Amir was speaking to the media in Brazil during the fight week regarding the development of sports in the Middle East. 

Amir is the first Egyptian Mixed Martial Artist to fight in Brazil. He will be facing Cleiton Silva in the Lightweight division in the main card on 13th April. Amir had concluded his training camp in Ireland and have reached Belo Horizonte, Brazil. 

“The Kingdom of Bahrain has been successful in creating opportunities in the Middle East in initiatives concerning sports. The success of Formula One in Bahrain is a statement that highlights the vision and key role that Bahrain plays in the region. Hosting Brave Combat Federation in Brazil for the third time is yet another achievement. Prior to Brave, Arab athletes did not have access to global platforms to showcase their skills. The initiative changed a lot in the world of Mixed Martial Arts. Initiatives by Bahrain is changing the world of sports in a definitive way, may it be combat sports, racing or athletics the impact is outstanding,” said Ahmed Amir.
