National Safety Council honour for Dr Jawahery

Manama : Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) President Dr Abdulrahman Jawahery has been named one of the top Chief Executive Officer’s for 2018 by the United States National Safety Council.

Council Chief Executive Officer Deborah Hersman congratulated Dr. Jawahery and commended his commitment to safety, along with his success in creating a safe environment for employees in the Petrochemical industry.

Dr. Jawahery is one of the few leaders whose contributions have been reviewed in the January issue of the Council’s Health and Safety Magazine, which has praised his dedication and approach, resulting in the Company winning  safety, security and health awards.

In his comments, Dr. Jawahery said the achievement was due to the keen desire of the Bahrain’s Leadership to provide all support to the Company and its Management.

GPIC is one of the well-known companies in the field of safety, health and the environment, locally, regionally and across the globe. It has also won awards at regional and international forums, including the Sir George Earle Trophy from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) in the United Kingdom.
