PM visits flood-affected areas
Manama : Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa visited a number of flood affected areas and inspected the work regarding draining out the accumulated rain water.
The Premier ordered technical and administrative crews, led by senior officials in the relevant ministries, to be present at the sites that have been damaged by rainwater and oversee efforts to drain the logged rainwater as soon as possible.
The Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, the Electricity and Water Affairs Authority and the Ministry of Housing were instructed to prepare immediate plans to address any obstacles that may affect the traffic flow or the property of the citizens.
