A 46-year-old Bahraini employee told the High Criminal Court that foul odours from accumulated garbage and psychological pressures drove him to set fire to rubbish containers near his home.
He is facing four arson cases involving the deliberate burning of garbage bins in Sitra. CCTV footage allegedly captured him pulling containers onto public roads before setting them alight. The court adjourned the cases until July 28 for further arguments.
