Student Faces Arson Charge
Court postpones case over alleged house fire until July 28

A Bahraini court adjourned the trial of a 23-year-old student accused of deliberately setting fire to a house owned by heirs until July 28.
The defendant remains in custody after threatening to burn the property when his sister refused to give him money. According to prosecutors, he later sent a WhatsApp message claiming he had started the fire. Civil Defence teams extinguished the blaze, which destroyed one room and damaged four others. The defendant admitted to the charge.
