inister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the Education and Training Quality Authority, H.E. Hamad bin Faisal Al Maliki, together with Minister of Education, H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, welcomed the first group of teachers seconded from the Ministry of Education to the Quality Authority. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Maryam Hassan Mustafa, Chief Executive of the Authority, and Ms. Suha Saleh Hamada, Director-General of Schools Affairs at the Ministry.
The initiative comes as part of a strategic partnership between the Ministry of Education and the Education and Training Quality Authority, aimed at enhancing the standards of learning in Bahrain.
During the meeting, officials reviewed the deputation project, launched in November 2023, and highlighted the outcomes of its first phase. The program is designed to strengthen the skills of national educators and reinforce efforts to advance education quality across the Kingdom.
Through the project, selected teachers from government schools are deputed to work with the Authority as reviewers of school and kindergarten performance. This exchange of expertise will allow teachers to participate directly in evaluation processes under a unified work plan, ensuring continuous development of the education sector in Bahrain.
