Rashid participates in Italy’s global ‘East Meets West’ Art Exhibition

Artist Rashid Al Khalifa, President of the RAK Art Foundation, participated in the international art exhibition “East Meets West,” which was recently opened in the Italian city of Trieste.

The event is part of an ongoing artistic project that aims to promote cultural exchange and foster dialogue between Eastern and Western artistic traditions.

On the sidelines of the event, artist Rashid Al Khalifa met with Roberto Dipiazza, Mayor of Trieste, who expressed his appreciation for Rashid Al Khalifa’s work and his artistic vision.

Lightness

The exhibition, held at the historic Palazzo Tergesteo, explores the concept of “lightness” through three thematic pillars: Art and Life, Art and Music, and Art and Philosophy.

It features works by a diverse group of artists from various cultural backgrounds, offering a creative and immersive experience that celebrates the convergence of East and West.

Commenting on his participation, artist Rashid Al Khalifa said: “I believe that art has the true power to transcend cultural and linguistic boundaries and create a human dialogue that crosses borders. My participation in this project stems from a deep conviction in the importance of supporting international artistic initiatives. The RAK Art Foundation is fully committed to backing projects that open new avenues for cross-cultural exchange and shared creative exploration.”
