HM King Hamad names new NIA President

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has promoted Brigadier General Bassam Mohammed Khamis Al Maraj to the rank of Major General.
Additionally, Al Maraj has been appointed as the President of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), effective from 1st August 2024. The appointment was made in accordance with Decree (28) of 2024 issued by HM King.
