Copenhagen: Denmark has reopened its embassy in Tehran after closing it for over three months owing to security concerns related to the Middle East war.
The Danish Foreign Ministry said that the decision was made in response to an improvement in Iran's security situation. According to the government, the Danish ambassador has been working from the embassy since June 19, and the office will officially reopen on Tuesday.
Denmark announced the temporary closure of its embassy on March 10, citing rising regional tensions and security dangers to diplomatic staff. Italy also reopened its embassy in Tehran last week, following a similar shutdown.
