GCC Condemns Houthi Attacks
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, has strongly condemned Houthi missile and drone attacks targeting Riyadh and Khamis Mushait in Saudi Arabia.
Albudaiwi described the attacks as a serious escalation and a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, warning that they pose a direct threat to civilians, security and regional stability.
He reaffirmed the GCC states’ full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and their support for measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its security, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Albudaiwi also called on the international community to take a firm position against what he described as repeated Houthi attacks and to hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
